Pursat province is 12,692 square kilometres big. It’s located in the Southwest of the country and is bordering to the North with Battambang, to the East with Kampong Chhnang, to the South with Kampong Speu and Koh Kong and to the West with Thailand. The province consists of some typical plain wet areas near the Tonle Sap Basin, covering rice fields and other agricultural plantations. The Tonle Sap itself covers a big part in the province’s Northeast. Most surface area of the country is the Krovanh Mountains, or literally called “Cardamom Mountains”. This is a green, forested mountain range in the southwestern part of the province, near to the border with Thailand. The highest elevation is the 1,813m high Phnom Aural in the Southeast corner of the country.

Recently, LHM Cambodia made film show program at Kompong Lor village, Kompong Pou commune, Krokor district of Pursat province. The title of this film is “The Last Flying” It is about a man by the name Dane Hugun rejected God and His servant for many years but at last by the power of His love Mr. Dan Hugun prayed and accept God as his Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord for his message of Hope,Love and Faith to those villagers by this film show.Amen

Recently, LHM Cambodia has performed the puppet show program at two places:

1-Prek One Primary School in Pursat province

2-Prey Tear village in Phnom Penh city

Our team performance the “The prodigal son” in Luke 15:11-32 talked about the Father accepted His younger son who came home after wasting all his money by doing bad things. It shows the people about the love of God to human kind. Even we are sinners and do bad things against Him many times, He still loves us and accepts us back. Thank God for opening the way for us to proclaim His Name to the people. Praise the Lord who allow us cooperate with other pastor and other congregation to make this program to reach out those children. There were 711 children and teachers/adults had seen the show. Praise the Lord for use LHM Cambodia to bring the message of  hope, love and faith to Cambodian people.

My name is Kem Ravuth. I am 43 years old. I am the principal of Roka Primary School in Kompong Thom province for ten years now. It is the challenge to take responsibility for educating children nowadays. As many students involve with drug and all kind of new technology_ they do not listen to parents and teachers. They use hand phone at school and access to website every where through telephone. It is very hard to give them advice and instruction. But thank you to the Christian’s group called “CCMC” for coming to perform puppet at my school. The story about the lost son is really helpful for our students because through the story, students enjoy watching and the summary at the conclusion make them known that the result of disobeying lead them into destruction. I like this story so much and I wish CCMC’s team could come to perform puppet two or three times per year at my school.

It is important that we be changed and motivated to share our faith by the mind and heart of Jesus at the Anlong Kanhchos Primary School, Brolay Meas communce, Kompong Leang district, Kompong Chhnang province. The best way to do that is to have Scripture at the heart of our lives. Witnessing is always more effective when we talk to God before we talk to people. As the bible said In John 5:24

“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life”. We thank God There were 300 people who hearing God’s Word.

Recently, LHM Cambodia has conducted Youth Program 4 times.

1)- At Chak Chrok village

2)- 2)- At Downtown Sport Club in Phnom Penh

3)- At Imperial Sport Club in Phnom Penh

4)- At New Hope Dong Preng in Sihanouk Ville.

The purpose of the Youth Program is to provide the youths the Christian guidance for godly decision makings in their lives. This program educates youth with the Christian perspective on the dangers of illegal drug use and alcoholism, the impact of negative lifestyles and the effects of social forces. Our youth program is to be held in every week with the participation of the young workers from the garment factories, young people from villages, and dormitory students. The total number of participants in the program is 168 people. We praise God for all the volunteers who help inviting those young people for the gathering and to hear the Gospel of Jesus. Amen!
